Conference season and content coming together all at once!

October had us on the road more than usual, and getting to share the room with school, government, and safety leaders sharpens how we show up for the people we serve.
We spent time at the Minnesota Association of Government Communicators Conference, which was a day full of conversations around managing communications under pressure, building public trust, and what it looks like to show up for your community when it matters most.
Later in the week, Jake took the stage at the MCEA Conference alongside Tim Dalton from Watertown-Mayer Public Schools for a session called Beyond the Print Catalog: A Practical, Low-Cost Start in Digital Marketing. No marketing theory, no big budget assumptions, just a real example of what one small community education team built, what happened when they did, and how any program can do the same. The room was full and the questions were even better than the presentation.
And earlier in the month, Sam made the trip to Arvada, Colorado for The Briefings a school safety symposium hosted by The I Love U Guys Foundation. The conference brought together school leaders, law enforcement, and safety professionals from across the country for two days of some of the most important conversations happening in education right now. It was inspiring and a powerful reminder that building safe, prepared school communities is a responsibility we all carry every single day.
In partnership with the Wisconsin School Public Relations Association (WSPRA) and the Wisconsin Council of Administrator of Special Services (WCASS), we’re proud to share our recently released Wisconsin Special Education Funding video. This video is FREE to WSPRA or WCASS members and is available to customize for your district! Click here to get the video!
As a part of their retainer, we put together the 2026 Mankato Brand Anthem, an emphasis on their unity and sense of community. It’s always a joy to partner with our school districts on something that lasts. This brand anthem video for Mankato Area Public Schools brings students and staff together around one simple promise: every student, every day. From a first day of kindergarten to the walk across the graduation stage, it shows what makes MAPS special, a community that sees itself as one district with a future built together.
