The weather is cooling down and students are getting ready to get back to the classroom.
August was one of our busiest production months of the year, and we know the team loved every minute of it. Back to school season means districts across the nation are gearing up for a new year, and our team has been right there with them, capturing the stories, training the communicators, and building the content that helps schools show up for their communities from day one.
One of the highlights of the month was bringing Captivate Academy to Olympia CUSD 16 in central Illinois, working alongside their team to build their photography and storytelling skills as they expand their digital communications this school year. It's always energizing to be in the room with people who are genuinely invested in connecting their communities to the work being done in their schools.
Seasonal Recreation Property Tax Base Replacement Aid is a Minnesota state law that restores property tax fairness in districts with significant seasonal and recreational property, ensuring the cost of voter-approved operating referendums is shared more equitably across all property owners. This video helps your community understand exactly what this legislation means for them.
Here’s how we partnered with Roseville Area Schools to teach students to think about their environmental impact.
Roseville Area Schools is making sure their students do their part to support the environment every day during their school lunch. We had the pleasure of creating this video, a fun and engaging explainer designed to teach students how to sort their lunch waste. The video follows students through the entire journey, from the lunch tray all the way to the farm, making sustainability feel approachable, memorable, and maybe even a little exciting. It’s the kind of content that makes a real difference in how students think about the world around them, one lunch at a time.
